My wEdDiNg GoWn

Having designed my own gown during my 18th Bday, I now have difficulty deciding what I'll be wearing for my most memorable day..my Wedding Day! I've read a few online forums as to who can make stunning gowns at a budjet price here in Cebu. Then Protacio Empaces was one of the names that interested me. That was a year ago. Funny thing is that when the wedding plans formally began this year, Tita Daisy, one of our soon-to-be Ninangs, suggested we go to Protacio Empaces. I told Tj about this and I believe that this is one of the countless signs that we are on track..hehe =)

As we visited his shop, we talked of how on a tight budjet we are. He just told us that everything is okay since he can work around our budjet. That is just great. =) Protacio Empaces will be designing and making my gown...one of the top designers if not the one of the pillars of Cebu's Fashion industry.

Since our ceremony will be held in SHP, I have to keep in mind how strict they are with rules...especially with the dress code. I've already worn off-shoulder semi-ball gown during my debut and I want my wedding gown to be different. For my top, I want to wear either a tube with a sweetheart neckline and a bolero/shrug or halter top. I want my gown to be very flowy and a lot of bead work and "vines". I'd like to have a cathedral veil with a little bead work. I guess I'm still a traditional bride by heart. For my modern touch, I can either have a tiffany blue or platinum silver accents thru ribbons and such...
